In spite of being an uninhabited island, in its 34 hectares of extension it houses a lighthouse, an old warehouse, a stable and a dock.
It has an unbeatable environmental wealth, as reflected in the recent report by the Consell de Menorca to declare it a marine reserve.
The report highlights the high and important biodiversity of the islet and the characteristics that make it an especially productive and adequate space to house diverse and abundant fish communities.
This area registered up to 634 species, of which 33 are protected. In addition, in a given area of this territory there are 31 marine communities and 3 habitats of community interest.
