It is true that the minimum time to enjoy the island is one week; in this post, we give you a guide of the five things you must do so to completely enjoy Menorca.
What to do in Menorca?
If you have a snorkel kit at home, do not forget to take it to Menorca and if you do not have one yet … what are you waiting to buy it? This Mediterranean island is the ideal place to immerse yourself and discover the seabed. We recommend Cala Morell and Cala Rafalet but no matter what cove you visit if you move a little bit away from the rocks you can contemplate wonderful fishes in the water.
A walk through the Ciutadella
If you seek to know the historic center of Menorca, then you must visit the Ciutadella. Get lost in its streets and know the past of this beautiful city. Along this walk, you will see its Cathedral, the Castle of San Nicolás and the port of Ciutadella, one of the most charming places. Their boats, bars and terraces … these will make you fall in love!
A bit of hiking
If you are one of those who likes to hike, we propose a path called Camí de Cavalls. With a total of 185 km divided in 20 stages, which runs the entire perimeter of the island. Being an approved trail is very well signposted and in the course of the route, you will find signs so you do not deviate.
Contemplate the island from its highest point
At 358 meters high, Monte Toro is the highest point of the island. From this viewpoint, you will have a panoramic view of the island of Menorca and if the day is clear, you can even see in the distance the island of Mallorca.
